Mr. Federico Ranfagni

Chief Executive Officer

Via Burolo, 22A - 10015 Ivrea Torino, Italia (Italy)

Ottawa, January 20, 2014

Dear Sir,

I have a licence for Website 5 Evolution10 registered on December 26, 2013.

Since then, I am unable to run videos, whatever format they are, on my website.

On January 3, 2014, I posted my first claim about this problem. On January 7, 2014, one of your operators, Ricardo, advised me to download Google Chrome + FlashPlayer Google Chrome. After downloading Google Chrome and FlashPlayer, I tested the video and it was still not working.

On January 8, 2014, I reported to Ricardo that Google Chrome and FlashPlayer did not run videos at all but that it generated spams on my computer every time I was surfing on the Internet. On January 9, Ricardo told me to upload a .zip attachment, a kind of patch to be supposed to fix the problem. Unfortunately,

on January 11, I had to reply that it did not work either.

On January 13, 2014, Ricardo asked me to send him a file called «iwzip»; he was believing that FlashPlayer was not correctly installed. The same day, I replied that it was not possible to locate this file on the hard drive where the Website 5 Evolution 10 was installed.

Without any request from Ricardo, I had already desinstall and reinstall FlashPlayer but the video was still not working.

On January 14, 2014, Ricardo insinuated that my PC was not correctly installed and Flashplayer not properly set.

On January 16, I replied that the problem had still to be fixed and that the iwzip file did not run either with Website 5 Evolution 10 or Dreamweaver.

On January 17, another user, Mr. Fabien Enard, added on my posting that he was facing the same problem with Website 5 Evolution 10 for operating videos on his website.

According to your suggestion /insinuation as my PC was not running correctly, I had it checked up at HP Ottawa. According to technicians, everything was correct.

Cost for the check-up: $60. Right after, I went to Adobe Ottawa, 343, rue Preston, to have the last version 12076 controlled. It was running perfectly with Windows 7 Professional 64 bits.

All check-ups done by Adobe confirmed that this version worked well on my computer. Cost for the check-up: $45. Adobe technicians just noticed that Website 5 Evolution 10 did not recognize the link with Adobe Flash Player 12. Surprisingly, the former Website X5 version, n° A27699*******(basic), was able to run without any difficulty, videos whatever the format was (wmv, MP4, mpg, avi, wma, etc.).

Why is it now impossible with Website X5 Evolution 10? There is something that I can’t understand and according to the number of postings you have on your blog, I am not alone.

It is really bad because this new version has a wonderful potential to create more professional website. But if we are unable to run videos, this won’t be a program we will use in the future. As a consequence, I give you until January 31, 2014 to fix definitely the problem with Website 5 Evolution 10.

As a solution to the problem, I would also accept an upgraded (even professional software) and tested software that is able to run videos. On the contrary and according to the Law for online purchase in Canada, you will have to give me the money back, plus the costs of the two check-ups I had to do at HP’s and Adobe’s , plus the cost of the time I spent to try to run your software, i.e., a total amount of $2, 036.99.

Waiting for your reply (French or English), I remain,

Yours Very Truly. Didier Pol
