Software Update Problem on W8.1 Pro, Evolution Version 10

Ladies & Gentlemen I purchased the product and installed it on my 2 Laptops. One is on Windows 7 Ultimate, the other one on Windows 8.1 Pro. I could install the product successully on both Computers, but could only install the Software update on the W7 machine. On Win 8.1 Pro I got an error message that the update could not be installed due to other open programs running. I closed all programs and tried again several times, without success. please advise best regards Roland Stoerr

make sure you have .net framework 4 and IE 10 in your win8.1 laptop. if they are not, you need to downgrade them. first start with IE11 and downgrade it to IE10. IE11 needs a patch and still nothing being released from microsoft to solve the bug.

You can directly download the most updated version from your answers.websitex5.com profile under "downloads" and then install it on both computers so it will be not necessary to update them.
