I want to create a slide show on my front page, but so much white space is created around the images.
About 1 inch of white space is wasted on the top, bottom, and the left and right, and I can not find any settings that will change that.
Please advise.

You can change the space around any object by using the right mouse button in page 3 on the desired object.
Then goto cell style edit, here you can set inner and outer margin by setting these to zero the object is at it's most narrow possibility.
You can do this also for another object that is beside or above your slide show, but then only use the part where they are next to eachother.
So if you have an other object on top of your slideshow go to that object, use right mouse click, goto cell style edit, and change there the bottom outer and if you wish inner margin.
That should narrow it down.

I understand that Andre, I have been using the software for years amd Iknow how to adjust the cell style. I have all the settings on Zero, and see the attached screenshot.

Then I don't now, but if you have a websiteadres I could take a look at the code, maybe there is something there.
Or have you checked this yourself ?

Hello Gerrit,
In the slideshow deactivate the option to keep the ratio and then set as height the height of the image. If the option keep ratio is active and the image has a smaller height then automatically you will have more space up and below. Deactivate it and then set the heigth of the image so the program will then adapt the space according to the correct height.
Many thanks!
