I have 15 printers in my product list.
Freight cost has been calculated for each printer, for all the major centres in South Africa.
The shopping cart must add the cost of freight, according to the customers location...
For example:-
Epson L110 = R1990.00
Freight to Johannesburg = R170.00, Pretoria = R180.00 Cape Town = R320.00 etc.
Epson L550 = R1990.00
Freight to Johannesburg = R190.00, Pretoria = R200.00 Cape Town = R360.00 etc.
For each printer these prices vary, and I have 15 printers in total.
Your advice please.

Hello Gerrit,
You need to use the weight option in every product and then add for every different weight the according shipping price. You will also need to create different shipping options according to the shipping centers with the according prices so the customer needs to select the correct shipping location and then the cart will show the cost according to the weight settings you have set.
As example you add to epson L110 the weight 10 and for the shipping to johannesburg you add the optionto the option >=0 the price R170.00 for Pretoria r180.00.
then for Epson L550 you add the weight 15 and in the existing shipping options (johannesbur, Pretoria, etc) you add the rule >=15 r190.00 for Johannesburg, R200.00 for Pretoria.

Hi Claudio I am totally lost,
Where do I do this, Shopping Cart > Product Setting?
Order Management. ?
We have calculated flat fees, so the freight costs will be same for all 15 Printers, for the different locations
Epson L110 = R1999.00
JHB and Pretoria Freight = R155.00
Durban Freight = R188.00
East London Freight = R205.00
Port Elizabeth Freight = R198.00
Cape Town Freight = R198.00
Bloemfontein Freight = R198.00
Kimberly Freight = R198.00
George Freight = R215.00
Limpopo = R235.00
North West freight = R235.00
Mmpumalanga freight = R235.00
. . . not possible to do it with "options" in the article ?
--> lowest price in article
--> + difference in various options
(normal price = R155.00 - + difference Kimberly 215-155 = +R60.00 as "option" Kimberly)

Ok thanks, but that tells me absolutely nothing...
Please understand that you work with the software 24/7 and u understand the product in detail...
When u give me an answer as u did above it means absolutely nothing, how must I understand what you are trying to say? if you do not explain your answer in more detail.
. . . i got the program in german and i thought you did read the manual - so you can follow what i am speking about. Now i put a screenshot hoping its clearer for you . . .

Hello Gerrit,
No you need to add the different shipping prices in the shipping type window and not as option in the product:

Many thanks!

From the information I supplied you it is obvious that my shipping cost is not weight related. !!!!
How do I enter these freight options in the cost section of "shipping type" ? It is not possible ?
JHB and Pretoria Freight = R155.00
Durban Freight = R188.00
East London Freight = R205.00
Port Elizabeth Freight = R198.00
Cape Town Freight = R198.00
Bloemfontein Freight = R198.00
Kimberly Freight = R198.00
George Freight = R215.00
Limpopo = R235.00
North West freight = R235.00
Mmpumalanga freight = R235.00
Hello Gerrit,
You needto create a different shipping option for every location and then add to the products different weights and in the shipping option for every location, according to the weight you entered the different price they need to pay to send it there.
Add to the products different weights as first by increasing it as example by 10 for every more expensive product when sent.
Then ofr evey city you need to have a different shipping option where you add the costs based on different weights.
Many thanks!
