Blog Additions
Autore: Brian S.Blog needs help. Remember it’s a blog not a forum. Blogs are mainly used by a single person or a small group of "followers". The Incomedia blog needs to more tools to make this actually usable in a user-friendly manner. Take for instance a single-user blogging about a trip. You cannot upload pictures, use links, etc. However, the blogging interface does not let you do anything outside of normal text. Doesnt support HTML. Bold - colors - fonts - etc.
Another HUGE problem is when blogging as a single-user, you can not even create a topic/category. This is beyond me why this is not in the interface. Don't get me started that you have to accept your own post. Once you sign-in with the admin interface, you should be able to add categories and write your own posts w/o needing to accept them.
These are a few things that NEED to be done in order to have this as a workable blog with a web developers Incomedia project. Unfortunately WordPress (even the free version) is much more powerful than Incomedia blog. I am a bit surprised, since its been around for quite a few versions.
Please take this with positive criticism, as I have been a long-time user of Incomedia products and love using them. This just needs some immediate help to be useful to your members - IMO.
