I have issue with login on check out. When i've add items to the cart and decide to check out, it takes me to the login page and I login successfully but it only says login successful and doesn't redirect automatically to complete the check out process.
See the attachment.
Website url:- http://www.thedogfoodshop.com/index.php
Will i be able complete the check out process just on a demo mode?

Hi Olufunso.
Where you already able to solve the issue? I can see that no login is required on your website as of now to complete a purchase.
If you need testing on this, please try and upload the website with the issue still on inside a subfolder, so that we can keep on testing without having to publish an unfinished website, and share the URL with me here
Let me know
Stefano
Hi Olufunso,
Little hint: Your "Home" Button follow a wrong Link and show 404 Error.

Hi Olufunso,
I'm getting some weird Javascript error now. Did you add any custom code to the whole thing? After I registered my account, I got stuck in a redirect loop, and this of course shouldn't happen.
Also, please validate my account so that I can proceed with the testing, since I received no email
Thank you
Stefano

Hello Stefano,
I have validated your account and you can proceed with the testing. I didn't add any custom code to the registration and checkout process because website x5 v15 won't allow that.
Thanks
Hi Olufunso.
I tried to log in, but I'm getting that my account wasn't validated yet. Can you confirm that?
In the mean time, I noticed that you're getting several Javascript errors due to Code that was surely custom added.
Something similar to StellarNav seems to be causing issues with some pages, and might also cause issues in the future.
Please see to that too
Thank you

Hey Stefano,
I just validated your account again. Kindly check on it and try to login again. Also is it not advisable to add custom script to website x5 projects, I found so many limitations on website x5 and I need some advice.
Thank you
Hi Olufunso.
This looks like a weird issue indeed. Before moving on to further tests, please try this for me.
Could you get a different, free and temporary hosting just to upload the whole website and verify if it works there?
This kind of issue can sometimes be due to incompatibility with the server's configuration
Try and let me know
Thank you

Hi Stefano,
I did as you said, I uploaded the website on another free and temporary hosting and it redirects fine. You should also test it
https://thedogfoodshop.000webhostapp.com/
Do you think I might be having issue with my hosting plan?
Thanks
Hi Olufunso,
At this point, it is probably that something is configured differently in the two servers. What that might be though is unknown to me.
What PHP version are the two servers running? You could try checking that out first. Eventually, contact your hosting about this matter so that they might provide an insight on this
Thank you and keep me posted

Hello Stefano,
The temporary hosting i used is using PHP version 7.1 while the hosting plan i paid for is using version 5.8.8. I contacted the hosting company about it already, do you think this might be what is causing the problem?
Thanks
Hi Olufunso.
Unfortunately, I am not able to say. WebSite guarantees compatibility for PHP version 5.x and above, but your specifically might have some configuration which differs from the one of the other server.
Please get back to me as soon as you got news about this
Thank you
Stefano
