Hi,
I am currently testing the beta version 2020.2.6. I Made changes to the blog and while saving it encountered an error, which was reported to you through the program itself. However, the file is now corrupt. Please see photo.

v2020.2.6 or v2020.3.0?
David, one of the new aims is improved automatic backup. Have you tried back/redo for this project?

Hi Esach,
Yes I dad already made a backup of the Site before I downloaded the Beta version and have restored it from there, But the beta version Back-up is corrupt and will not open. Im going to try the same changes again to see if the problem returns or if it was just a one off problem.

Dave Wilson
David, if you are relying on the built in backup routine at this time, please don't. Use step5 export project to create an iwzip (rename by appending date at time of creation). The iwzip is a reliable and complete backup that can easily be imported even on a different PC.

Thanks for reporting this. I was waiting to see some feedback on 2020.2.6 before installing. And now I see 2020.2.6.1 is already out. Yet the changelog is not updated yet to tell us what changed with the .1.
Hello John,
Version 2020.2.6.1 is the first release in this beta series (there was no 2020.2.6.0).
The changelog is here:

Hello John
The changelog should be updated. Check it out here:
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/w5/changelog
A new PayPal system has been released that aims at replacing the older one which is being discontinued by PayPal
Feel free to test it out and let me know any feedback in a dedicated topic
Thank you
Stefano
Okay, I see. We start counting at 1 and not 0. So other reports of 2020.2.6.1 are coming in as it being stable?
I'm not a big fan of Paypal. But I would like to see the blog issues resolved.
Thanks,
