1. On my website, as a top line, you can see some letters like "google site verification". what is it for and how can i get rid of it? this looks unprofessional when clients see it.
2. why does my website appear as "non secure" on iphone and ipad, it does not on desktop.?
thanks for help, screen shot included

Reusser,
To help better: What is your website?
But besides that you probably set the google verification on a wrong place or you have used an incorrect coe on the correct place.
To get secure websites you need to have SSL certificate, this can bought with at your provider.
See also the helpdesk there are a lot of topics about your question.
I already answered you here about it SSl:
https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/it/post/238442
please try to keep questions from 1 subject in one topic, this way the search for other users works a lot better.
Let's focus in this post on your google question;

Thanks, but your answer does not help so far. i have asked what this google thing is and how i can get rid of it. so where is the correct place to put it or do i really need it?
also about the SSL, yes you told me i can buy, but i think its included in my plan and it does work on desktop, but not on ipad or iphone. i went trough the steps you told me, but it did not help
any other suggestions?
No problem but again;
To help better: What is your website?
Without it i can't see where it goes wrong and i can only guide you with common idea/s options.
So with a website adress i can help you better and more specific. I don't see the attachement in first post as well.
Let me know i hope to get a much better answer for you.

Sorry, i am www.brucreatief.nl and i am sending the attachment again
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="j_F-VaknXUdvpPKU11vFYntpYP5BhQzDCucW_oVfAgQ" />
Laat me even weten dan loop ik er daarna nog even door want ik zie meer fouten in je code maar ik denk dat deze allemaal hierdoor komen.
***
remove your google code from step3 select home page -> properties buttun -> expert TAB ->
and place it here: stap1 -> advanced TAB -> SEO -> html tag TAB
like this: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="j_F-VaknXUdvpPKU11vFYntpYP5BhQzDCucW_oVfAgQ" />

Dear Andre, I have had this on the right place, but it does not go away on my front page. Then i press the google button, it goes to google, but when i press the verification button there, it does not work, see second picture. At the end I have this, verification failed
Do you have any idea, why this happens and what i could do about it
Autore
I have also checked the verification with google, but thats fine aswell, its all working, but still showing this top line. I have actually no further idea where to look and what to do
Gabriella,
you need to write it like this: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="j_F-VaknXUdvpPKU11vFYntpYP5BhQzDCucW_oVfAgQ" /> in x5;
then it will work

Hello Andre
It does not work
In the preview of X5 I can see, that the line has gone, but then I have uploaded the site and its still there, when its public.
I did put in the correct line like the picture below, but it still does not work. Something must be really wrong. Is it possible that the problem is with one.com?

Hello Andre, finally it did work, I could solve the problem. I think I was too impatient. It took a while to take all the changes over. Many thanks for your help and your patience. I can always recommend you as a good helper
