I have done this and made a whole pc update ,but sorry no result.

If i reinstal the X5 software do i lose the projects ?

If you do not have backup of your project files I suggest to have a copy of your incomedia folder inside your "my document". then install it the x5 program.

don't uninstall the first one, see if that fix the damage files. if it did not let you to install without uninstall, then go ahead and uninstall it.

New version won't open.

I have today purchased the Professional X5 version 11 edition for £149 and it will not open.

An error message says, "imRegister.exe - .NET Framework initialization error. Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application."

I am using Windows XP SP3 and my default browswer is Firefox v. 35.0.1.

I then uninstalled the software and the .NET Framework 4 extended which it installed and I "repaired" my existing .NET Framework using the Microsoft download and started again with no other apps running and the same thing happened.

How do I get this to work?

First of all thanks for support .

The problem is not yet solved

1/I have re install the software ,before deleting previous software.

result was the same.

2/I have taking our project maps out of the files and go delete the x5 software.

3/but i show some other general problem ,see attachment

It have something to do about the specifications ,but i can't make them better.

On my impression some other people can have this problem also .

you have win7, go ahead and download .net framework 4.5, that should solve your problem

Thanks for cooperation but the problem still exist ,there is a part of the starpage

not possible to use .

Now i have delete the software and aftrer restart the pc re load the software

but get the message

Cyclisch redundantie controle ,problem .it was not possible to re install the software.

Now i have reload the software but in a other pc user ,near every thing is perfect now .

But now i can't reload the project files ? how is the exact process to re input these project files

in the reload X5 software ?

place the folders you had inside your other pc into exact folder, then make a copy of project.iwprj and rename it to old-project.iwprj and import it inside your program.

if you used any image, videos, files, etc inside your project, make sure to copy them to the same path as other pc.
