Search bar not showing on mobile phone

Hi.
I have made my website www.abledomestics.co.uk responsive with website x5 12 pro. however, the search bar is not appearing when I view the website on a mobile phone. How can i resolve this?

It is not possible to include a search field in the header of a responsive template.

Can this be corrected in an update? the reason I bought 12 pro was to make my website responsive. It has achieved this, but now i have no search bar on mobile phones, and as I sell products online and most of my customers will use mobiles, it has not really achieved anything and I will loose custom.

If you like to have it build in by Incomedia I suggest to create an IDEA post, so the programmers will taka a look at it.
In the mean time there are workarounds as mentioned in the link Paul kindly wrote.
