Domain transfer from other service provider

I have an active domain from other service provider and would like to use that domain before I publish my finished website. Is it possible and how?

Hello Rachel,
Do you mean you have an active domain name like mywebsite.com, or domain space like webhosting allocated to you on a server?
In either case it is possible to set up WebSite X5 to make use of these options.

I have a former online shop that I closed. But my domain is still active and I want to use it .
In that case just set your domain as the WebSite Address (URL) in Step 1 General Settings.
The remaining configuration (i.e. pointing your domain name to an appropriate directory on your server) is done by your webhost. Contact them to ask them to do this on your behalf.
Once they have done so they will be able to give you the correct FTP details which are required to upload your WebSite X5 project to the server in Step 5.
