Issues with saving projects X5 Evolution 13

I am having issues saving my work while using the latest version 13. I do work on a website, and when I want to save it, it shows a progress bar to 98%, then seems to hang there. I have left it for over 2 hours on one occasion to see if it will eventually complete, but does not, and I have to close X5 through the task manager, which leads me to losing all the work I have just done on a particular site. I am running an I7 laptop, with 8GB Ram and more than enough hard drive space, with windows 10 pro 64 bit... Are there any ideas on this issue.

Yes. I had a similar issue. Very difficult to handle.
In my case I discovered if I remove some contents and saved the project it fixed the problem
The content I was adding is a "text" object to the Footer (in Template- Header and footer content). once I added the second text object the program hangs you cannot even do a preview or continue edditing.
I removed all text objects form footer and that fixed the issue.

I can't even open my project now to see if your solutions will work for me, it shows creating Project files, gets to 99% and thats where it stays. This version 13 is full of bugs
Roy - you are running the latest update (v13.0.1.16)?

Yes, I even redownloaded the latest version last night, but still having the same problems, though I have been using v13.0.1.16 since the update came out
Since all else had failed (pending the release of the next update), have you considered looking at the Windows Event Logs to see if anything is stopping it? (I would delete all existing logs so it's easier to see problems)

I am thinking it might be something to do with some of the templates, as I changed the template and my site seems to be working again. Did not see any relevant issues in the system logs.
