I'm sure (if I use this feature) some clients are going to ask me to adjust timming of background slides.

Yes an option for timing - or rather 2.
There should be a timing for how long time the image should be shown.
AND there should be a timing for the duration for the transition.
If you use fade in/out, then it looks more cool when it does not happen too quick.
This also goes for the "normal" slideshow.

This is a missing feature (along with a regular full width slideshow), so let's hope the devs get the time to check out :)
