I am currently using webplus X8 but it is now a legacy software and I am looking for a replacement. I have a domain name www.sadlba.com which is not a serif one. I have no idea how to publish the site to this domain from X5 and I haven't, as yet, found any information to guide me. I am petrified.
Secondly I want to have a small photograph of someone - alongside an article they wrote on the history of the association. I can't work out how to do this. The photo always takes up half the screen.
The serif user manual was extremely useful and detailed but I am struggling with this software.
I am currently experimenting with the downloaded demo version.
All help appreciated

Hello Patricia S.,
You just need to go to step 5 and choose "Upload the WebSite to Intern" and enter the FTP data you received from your hosting provider.
Regarding the images, if you add a big image the program shows it in full size in the text object, but you can resize it by clicking on it and then dragging the edge to make it smaller.
Many thanks!

Thank You for answering Claudio. I think I need another domain address for practising on so that I don't ruin my current site and probably another hosting provider!
I have had no luck resizing the image. I have a standard 4 cell table but only the left hand two are used. The top has the text and the bottom has the image icon.
If I select the cell with the image icon (just the icon displayed - no image) then it won't resize.
If I double-click on the image icon then the photo is displayed but there is no opportunity to resize the image (although it can be cropped, made sepia etc). So I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
Do you know if there is a proper published user guide for this software? I like the way it handles photo galleries and responsive devices but I am struggling with the cell layout having been used to placing text and graphics anywhere on a page.
Kind regards
Pat

OK I didn't realise that you can define a cell as text and when you go to edit the text cell you can import a picture into the cell and that allows you to resize the image. I did that and put the resized image at the bottom of the text but I can't enter text below the image. I expect I can work around that though.
