Hello,

I would like to add a photo gallery on a website which can be customized online.

I am fimilar with google presentations where in you can build a slidesheet which can be edited without hosting the website again. But I am looking for a solution to build a gallery which can be edited online, so not the gallery option in website x5

Is there anyone who knows a solution for this? maybe HTML?

As example, I would like to do this by dragging and dropping images in a project folder. Or some other way if this is not possible.

Kind regards.

So why not simply use google and embed the html on the WX5 website?

Hello Roermondse

You uploads your images to Google Photo.

You decide which images you want to make public. You then create an album, and then share this album

For the album you specify which image should be the cover-photo.

You now have a shared album, and you have a link where you can see the album.

But you cannot yet publish this link on your website.

You go to : https://ctrlq.org/google/photos/

Here you can specify the link to your shared album, and you get a link like this :

<a href='https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipMCo0YJiS_hmLVens74jBJwOFNF7

This link you can put in a html-object, and the cover-image is shown as a clickable image.

If the image is too big, then you can change the size specified in the end of the link.

Here you have something like ........wVjAEaZR6_dE4dGztixe6mMaP4R9L908yA=w2400' ></a>

You then change the 2400 to something that suits you. could be 1000

If you click the link, it will open in the same window. If you after the specification for the href="thisisthe.url" specify a

target="_blank"

Then the album will open in a new tab.

The album is public, but can only be edited when logged on.

I guess it is something like this you want.

I have made an example here : http://www.john-schwartz.dk/mega2/side-8.html

Hope you are helped by this.

If you click on the "i" Information on some of the last images shown, then you will see a little Google Map beside the images that shows the location.

This is taken from the EXIF data of the image. If your camera does not supplo geotagging, then yoy can specify a location in Google Photo. This is just some extra information.
