Is there a way to put The Word MENU on the Hamburger Menu Button.
Many folks just don't know they can access the site menu by using the Hamburger Menu Button.
They just think it is a symbol they have no idea what it is.
This would end a frustration for visitors that are not too knowlegable with what the Hamburger menu does.
Thank you.

Giulio, with the new menu object you can now place the word Menu above, below, or next to the toaster bar in both the header and sticky bar, you can even add the word so that it is visible only at or below certain resolutions.
I would however like to be able to replace the toaster bars with perhaps the word Menu or a graphic if I wished to do so.
(It > En) ... ... or with EXTRA code, but you must post the LINK in order to evaluate if it is possible ...

Esahc,
Thank you for your reply it was very helpful. Although I do like your idea to be able to replace the toaster bars with the word Menu or a graphic of our own.

Giulio
Hello Giulio
Then post a link to your site.
KolAsim offers you to show you a way if you post the link so he can analyse how - if possible.
Hello Esahc,
Which new menu object, where... nothing into my objects list. No possiblity to upload a "Menu object"
And on my pro version no option to put a title

I think you misunderstood my answer. You are quite right, you cannot add text into the menu object, but with the (new) menu now an object that can be placed anywhere (since v13/v14??) it means you can place text or graphics near the menu object as in my example above because you can place the menu exactly where you want it.
Ha yes Esahc, agree.

I would suggest that you post link to your site. KolAsim helped me several times (to add some code) to accomplish different things not supported by WSX5. But again, he needs the link...
I had this question previously. Searched the boards and found the answer

In addition to the code in the post mentioned by Nicole B., if you add .hamburger-bar {display: none} (between <style> and </style>) you will only see the word MENU and no "hamburger".
v17 now allows you to replace the toaster menu with an image.
Where is it, Esahc?
I found it:
2 Template - Template Content - Main - Hamburger Button (under Menu Item, drop down list)
Do you know how to set it to have this menu for low resolution (smart phones, iPods) and normal menu for higher resolutions (PCs)? I could not figure it out...
"v17 now allows you to replace the toaster menu with an image."
Don't work as expected.
Settings.
I came to the same conclusion. But maybe we are wrong?
Using KolAsim's code plus my little addition a got what theauthor of this post asked about:
Clicking on the word MENU, opens real menu:
The picture for the background should be about the same size as the hamburgermenu is.
If you want a bigger picture in the hamburgermenu, make the hamburgermenu bigger and try again.
I just tested with a smaller image and that works.
Or try for test a smaller image, it's not in the help file but I gues the size should be the same, a bigger picture then the 3 stripes menu gets off the grid and won't show up properly.
But transparent background should be transparent. See my posts over.
Yes background transparant should show up as transparant. I just tested this but that does not work.
I will ask Incomedia to check/ respond for you on that.
Thx
I do not like the fact that you have to adjust the size of the image to the size of the menu. In my opinion, this implementation (replacing the menu with an image, as it is now in version 17) is useless! I think that the simple code added to the page gives a better effect (with text, not a picture though) than suggested in WSX5.
The programmers will have to put a lot of work into it to make it usable!
Just run another test: You can put animage instead of text!
The size of an image doesn't matter. The original size of an image will be displayed - it's up to you.
