Hello Prizzella
You are allowed to get updates until the end of your running period ( + 14 days ).
Beware that when a new version is released within the period you are allowed to update - BUT - new releases are not functioning from start. You could then have trouble if your period "runs out" just after a new release. Youu will then NOT be allowed to receive upgrades with bug-fixes.
Hi!
As John suggested, unfortunately you won't be able to receive the included updates if you don't extend the service. On the other hand, you will still be able to use and have access to your license, so you can keep using the program normally.
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
Does it mean that you will not get even version with small error corrections of the version you paid for? For example version 17.1.4 release, having 17.1.2 paid for.
I just found an error: e-commerce doesn't work in Mozilla Firefox (see this post , confirmed by Moderator). Will I be entitled to get version that fixes this problem?
Tom
The most important thing to do is download the full copy of the latest version of WX5 you are entitled to (your profile). If I am correct you will need this in case of a re-install.
Let's pretend you are using v17.1.2 at the time your Update Protection ceases. If some time into the future Incomedia releases 17.1.3 then v17.1.2 will no longer be available for download, in the event of a HD crash the last version available to you for download through your profile (top right this page) will be v16.3.1
Suddenly you will not be able to open your projects (created in a later version).
This part of Update Protection cessation needs addressing . . . .
Hi Tom,
you will keep receiving the updates for fixes for about 2 weeks after the expiration date, but after this period it will be necessary to have an active Update Protection to receive them.
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
