My primary computer is going into the shop for up to two weeks. I have an older one that is running on Windows Vista. Can I use the new Website X5 Evo 2019.1 on the old computer? If not, what is the latest version that will run on Vista? I need an answer pretty quickly. I'll check back here in a bit. Thanks!

Kitty - you did make an iwzip of every project on your PC (step 5 export, export project) and save it to an external device before you sent your primary PC to the shop??
Are you aware that older versions cannot open projects created with newer versions?
I do not know the answer to your question, but if you are lucky v13 might run. You can download any version you like from your profile (top right, this page) under the download button, so good luck. It would be interesting to hear which version you get to run reliably on Vista.

I have to laugh. I never expected my 3 year old laptop to have, of all things, the hinge break. Oh well. I have exported the websites. They're on a flash drive. We shall see. Thanks for the assistance.

I think the best question is will the new version run on a Vista based computer?
Remember, Windows Vista doesn’t even run under Windows Vista!

Well Myron, my Vista runs pretty good. The question is will the current version of Website X5 Evo run in Vista?
Kitty - unlikely!
I do not believe Microsoft will allow ancilliary software that is required (C++, .net) to install and I presume that the Incomedia installer will make a few decisions on your behalf. Time to suck it and see??

Sigh! No update for the 2 church websites for two weeks. C'est la vie...
Kitty, you haven't got a friend or family with a PC? You could install then uninstall WX5 when your laptop returns?
