Hi All,
I would like to add a background color or image to all of my pages. When I go To Template Structure and click the Page Background, I either add a color or image but nothing shows up when previewed.
What am I doing wrong? I thought this would add the color or image to all pages across the site.
Otherwise I have to go to each Page under Page Properties > Graphic and enter it there. I am not a lazy person but this seems to be a bit much, especially with the Holidays coming.
I would like to change the page background with a different holiday theme during the year but with 130 pages, to do this manually on all pages is just too much work.
I must be doing something wrong.
Thank you all for your help. Giulio

Giulio, are you sure it's not something as simple as the page contents set to white (or some other colour or image)? If this is the case simply change page contents (and Header & Footer?) to transparent.

Hi Esahc,
Thank you for your help...
I have tried everything with transparent needs to be set etc. I tried adding the background color tothe page contents which changes it in the template settings but when previewed there is no change. All I would like to do is add a little color or a background image in the template settings and have it show on all web pages.
Right now the only way I can achieve this is to every Page to Page Properties > Graphic and change it on every page. This should be able to be done in Template Structure but does not work.
I wish to only set a Page Background image or Color across all web pages with Page Contents set to Transparent.
Here is my homepage with the Page Background being a slight gray. https://prolinesystems.net
Thank you for hanging in there for me, it is very much appreciated, Giulio
Hello Giulio,
Make sure that you select the correct viewport(s) you wish to apply the colour or background image to:
Depending on how many responsive viewports you have in your project, you may need to set the Page Background several times (i.e. once for each individual viewport).
When previewing you must also select the corresponding viewport at the top-right of the Preview screen, else your changes will not be shown:
Kind regards,
Paul

Thank you Gentlemen for the explicit details. I have done this to no success at all.
When I change the Page Background color or image in Template Structure it shows the change color or image I have applied and when I view the results it does not show the change.
Neither will it populate the other pages.
The only way I can achieve this is to go to each and evry page in the SiteMap and choose Properties then Graphic and make the change there which works but only for that page.
With approximately 130 pages this is a real pain when this should be very easy.
My only guess is, that I use a Vertical side Bar on the left that could be preventing the global setting in Template Structure.
I hope we can find a solution and thank you for hanging in there for me. Please stay in touch. Giulio
Hi Giulio,
could you please post some screenshots, so you can show us exactly what you do and the result in the preview?
Thanks! Kind regards.
Have you selected the correct 'Structure type' from the drop down menu in the screenshot above, before making your changes?
(It > En) ... maybe that's your problem here ...
... maybe you have the page contents not transparent, but opaque. so you will not be able to see the general background of the site; ... just check all sections of the page and remove image backgrounds and assign transparent background color...
