When a person emails me from the X5 Email Contact Form It Always Goes To The Junk Folder.
This has been going on since my web host put me on OUTLOOK. I have tried all sorts of rules and nothing changes.
I have a third party Pop Up Chat Box that works fine, and sends it to my Inbox. But when a customer uses the X5 email form they all go to the Junk Folder.
It appears Outlook thinks the emails from the X5 contact form look like trying to Deceive or Spoof and does not recognize as a ligitimate sender.
I have tried so many rules within Outlook but have not been able to fix this for over a year.
Thank you for all that respond, your support is greatly appreciated. Giulio Valle

I have the same, i don't know what outlook is doing. They organise the rules for spam themself.
If you have a mail from outlook you can set it as this is no spam and report it. If you have done so, mail will come in normaly after a while or a few reports, but after a while that it works good it starts to get in the spambox again and the whole cycle starts again....... i have this for years now.....
If somebody knows a better solution i am all ears....

Hi Andre, For over a year I have tagged emails that were not supposed to junk folder with "It's Not Junk" but nothing is learned by outlook and the problem still exists.
Somehow emails coming from the X5 contact form looks suspicious in Microsoft Outlook.
I hope someone can help us.
Me to, but not always. no found a rule... (outlook 2007 !!)
I have no investigated more the email html coding.
Should be inside !
This is not x5, it's outlook / microsoft.
i set it as not spam and report it in outlook online, that realy helps, but as suggested, for a few months.
somebody else set these kind of mail as junk and the filter goes on again, and so on and on, at least for me.

Hi Everyone,
I hope - think I figured out the problem causing Microsoft Outlook emails going to the junk folder when sent from the X5 contact form.
Try This, If you have someone send an email from the X5 contact form, check what it says at the top. In my case it is "Pro Line Systems Customer Information Request" - See my attached example with Red line pointing to it.
Go to settings in Outlook, Mail, Rules and make a rule. Tell it that any email that has that same wording in it - to go to inbox.
My emails are now going directly to my inbox.
Please Let Me Know If This Works For You, I am very anxious to know...
Good Idea Giulio,
If you keep same text then it should work for you, but a customer get's the mail also and there the spam filter from microsoft will do it's -bad- work, well if customer uses outlook.....
So i will stick to reporting and hope they wake up some day and change there spamfilter usage.
hmmm, a landing page including an alert to people to check spam box might be a go around

Frustrating... Back to Outlook sending emails from my X5 contact form to Junk file. Godaddy says it it appears to be some issue coming from the X5 contact form making it seem like it is Spoofing or tricking the email from a different domain etc.
I wish there was a way around this.
me too.
