In the last few weeks it seems that people submitting enquiriesd through our contact form are not getting confirmation emails, nor do we get their enquiry by email from the contact form. It was working well till a few weeks ago. I saw someone else had this problem in January, but the thread was closed without any solution described.

Hugh, are you using a domain email address (yourname(at)yourdomain.com) or an email address unrelated to your domain name? Did this email failure follow a WX5 upgrade? Can you post a screen shot of your email setup and parameters?
One of the email addresses was a Gmail address, but the other was a domain address. It did seem to go wrong after the most recent upgrade.
However, I have now changed both the email addresses to domain addresses and now my test submissions are getting forwarded on.
I presume it must be a security enhancement, which is a bit restrictive but understandable!
This will be imposed by your hosting, not WX5
