Google indexing on blogs

I am looking at google search console and see that my blogs are not indexing. (I think 2 blogs are but the rest are not)
what can be the cause of this? The blogs are created by storytailor, then the html code is entered into the blog section. I try to have a link in my blogs that go to another blog (sometime the search blog page)
attachment is after I physically put the website for a blog into the search feature and tested live site. (do I need to do this with all the blog pages? or will that mess up my SEO)

I am not an expert by any means, but indexing means people can find it when searching.. right? and If I work on my seo, keywords, tags etc.. that will boost my rankings.. right?
Right - that is some of the things that Google tell in their guidelines.
Images (size and type) and alt tags for images is also important - and other things.
I'm not an expert on SEO either.
Indexing with Google only means that the website is in the Google database. It does not mean that the website can also be found on the first few pages.
