After the last update 2023.2.6, loading pictures has become unbearably long and causes the computer to freeze

Hello.
1) Download the new version of the program from your personal account https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/community/users/77593/downloads
2) Temporarily, for the experiment, disable the antivirus, firewall and any other protection.
3) Uninstall WebSite X5 and reinstall it.
4) Restart your computer. Do not run any other programs.
5) Run WebSite X5 as administrator.
Also make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-net-framework-4-8-offline-installer-for-windows-9d23f658-3b97-68ab-d013-aa3c3e7495e0

Добрый день! К сожалению, выполнение рекомендуемых Вами шагов, успеха не принесло. По-прежнему, загрузить одно фото на сайт занимает 40-50 минут.
Может будут еще какие-нибудь идеи?
Спасибо!
Good afternoon Unfortunately, following the steps you recommended did not bring success. As before, uploading one photo to the site takes 40-50 minutes.
Maybe there will be some other ideas?
Thank you!
It is not due to the current version of WebSie X5 that the program is so slow.
There are no problems on my very cheap notebook with Windows 11, so something must be interfering with the program.
Are cloud drives, virtual drives, network drives or similar used?
Using an Apple computer with Windows emulation?
Give information about the computer, the Windows version and the connected drives, maybe the moderators can narrow down the error.

I'm using ASUS with only a hard disk ( source of a photo) with Windows 10. Last time ( six months) my laptop really is working a little bit slowly. But I think because I connected two monitors.
Thank you!
I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.
Hello Serhii
I'm sorry but I am really not sure I understand the issue correctly.
You mention attaching a picture to the project but also uploading it. At what point is this slowness experienced? When you are selecting an image to attach to the project or when you upload the project online?
Perhaps you can attach here a very short video that better identifies the problem correctly?
I remain available here

Hello! The computer freezes when trying to upload a photo for any object on the site. If you are careful and do not do a lot of mouse clicks, then this can be done within 40-50 minutes

Serhii, you may like to run disk cleanup to ensure that temporary files, etc are not simply cludging performance. In the windows search box on the taskbar type disk clean and it should appear so you can execute it. Select clean up system files and select everything before proceeding. Please advise if this improves performance.
Do you know if your PC has a mechanical HD or SSD?

Thanks for the advice! I do it systematically. The rest of the programs work as usual. I have a mechanical disk.
Serhii, I know it should have no impact, but I noted empty cells on your example page. Can you place an object in every cell (eg text), there is no need to add content.

I think the problem is some conflict between Windows update and your program. I ran version 2023.1.5 and got the same problem even though everything was ok before
I have Windows 11 Home on my ASUS notebook with SSD hard drive and it is up to date with Windows updates.
I have the current Pro version of WebSite X5 running without any problems.
Reinstalling Windows and the NET framework could possibly help, but the Windows experts should get in touch first, so that there isn't a great deal of chaos.
Perhaps the Incomedia staff can give tips.

Thank you! They might be able to give some good advice. I have been waiting for it for a week and have to look at other website builders
Serhii, a while back I had the same issue. Apart from the 2 steps I have already mentioned I also ran chkdsk/r from an elevated DOS prompt. It may be worth a try before changing builders.

Hi all! Still waiting for help! I can't work with Web Site X5. In the next license renewal, I will require an additional 30% discount (if after 10 years I do not switch to another).
Serhii, could you please create a new project and check if this problem exists?
Do you have multiple projects? If so is this problem in all projects?
If the problem is only in one project, can you go to step 5, export project (untick preview and backup copies) and create an iwzip file. Now restart WX5, select import and choose your new iwzip file (this will NOT overwrite your existing project).
Does the problem exist in this recreated project?
Did you run chkdsk?
Hey Mr. Z, you probably already have, but if you have not, take a look at Task Manager.
You might be able to see what is taking resources and slowing your computer way down.
Open task manager and then X5 and check performance and scroll down thru the processes.
Hope you find something.

Hi all!
Thanks for your advice. Experimenting with your advice, I have set the hard drive and RAM to get the maximum workload when a program accesses a specific file folder. M.b. this is some physical damage to the disk or something else, but there are no problems working with photos from other folders.
Anyway, I gradually started working and making commitments to others.
Thanks to everyone who helped me with advice and comments. Have a good day!
I am pleased the fault was not with Website X5
May be or may be not, but i had a problem with Win+WX5, of which cleaning Windows helped. I don't know how to start that function manualy, but windows comes up so once in a while, and after i said [yes] WX5 works as normal.
Fyi: i had the problem the program wouldn't start, and it was the only program with an issue and tried all the regular options.
Hope it helps...
