Problem with E-commerce cart and check out  en

Hi

I've recently built a site, T2Hole.com, for my customer, but we are having trouble with the e-commerce cart.

On testing the buying experience these things are occurring:

  1. Once all the credit card details are completed and the PayPal button is pressed, I'm sent to the payment failure page.
  2. And I get an email invoice saying the order has been made but I need to complete the PayPal payment before the item can be sent

However, testing the seller experience these things are occurring:

  1. I receive an email invoice saying a product has been purchased.
  2. Payment has been received and is in my customers PayPal account.

Can anyone help me resolve this please?

Kind regards

John

Hello John

I will gladly analyze the issue for you. However, to do so correctly, I need to ask you to please provide to me here the URL to your ecommerce website, so that I may attempt to place an order myself

I remain available here

Stefano

Hello John

I've checked the website and it seems to me like the payment works fine when you visit the website without adding "www" to the URL.

However, if you visit the URL like this:

https://www.t2hole.com/

PayPal won't work.

To fix this, simply get in touch with your hosting provider's support and ask them to configure an automatic redirection from:

https://www.t2hole.com/

to

https://t2hole.com/

And it should always work. Try this out and keep me posted here

Thank you

Stefano

Hi Stefano,

I've changed the configuration as requested, but now the buy now button does not appear to work.

The customer gets an invoice requesting a PayPal payment but the seller receives payment for the product.

This is not a good customer experience.

Can you help me, please?

Regards

John

Hi Stefano,

I've given up on using the in-built e-commerce cart and opted for a Stripe integration.

Kind regards

John

Hello John

I would still want to verify the issue for you since there's currently no known issue that would stop you from using PayPal at all. The issue is likely generated by some misconfiguration we could easily fix

Please do let me know if you intend to restore the PayPal method and we can continue with the analysis

Thank you

Stefano
