Installing X5 on W11, Welcome screen does nt accept input.

I need to start using W11. I have tried installing EVO, EVO trial and Pro Trial.
I ran the download install program as an Administrator. The welcome screen appears but does not allow anything to be entered in the emailadddress field.
I have not found an answer to a similar question.
Any help is appreciated. TIA,

Hello Ernst,
I am sorry about the issue, this is a graphical problem occurring with version 2026.1.6, a fix has been included in version 2026.1.7, currently released as a Beta.
We will soon release it for all users, in the meantime I recommend using the previous installer and later updating to the current version from its startpage:

Shit happens! But I am pleased with your speedy reply. I need to evaluate PRO before my EVO license expires at the end of June, so no pressure.
