Lost site v9 data when computer crashed. Want to upgrade to v12 and import site

no longer have site data on my computer... (computer crash, lost several things including v9 website data) Site is up and running. having issues with v9 and want to upgrade to v12. After I purchase v12, How can I recover site data from current website.?
fyi.. I have submitted several tickets, and no answers... v9 no longer supported?

Official support for version 9 has now been withdrawn... please see this FAQ:

Unfortunately there is no way to rebuild a WebSite X5 project if you no longer have access to the project files, other than by copying and pasting as much text as possible into a new project... and likewise downloading as many images as possible and inserting them into Image Objects in a new project.

Paul is quite right on this, I am afraid. At least when you do what he suggests, you will be able to take advantage of the new features of Version 12 and you will end up with a better site.

not what I hoped, but what I expected. I know x5 doesn't build on my computer. I have used publisher and been able to move things back and forth using my Filezilla ftp, but Publisher doesn't animate. However it is less restrictive to placing photos and captions.Thanks for the reply.
