Deleting old projects from the start page

When I start the programme I am given the opportunity to select an existing project. If, however, I wish to select an old project to delete, I get the message "Are you sure you want to delete project". When I reply "OK" the message comes up "An error occurred while deleting the project". I have a number of old projects I would like to delete as they are only older versions. I think that the very old ones are dropping off the bottom but I cannot delete them to tidy up this page. Can you help please?

I you check the preferences box at startup, you will see your project folder path on your computer.
The name of the old projects should be the same as the folder name that is in the location of your preference folder path.
Move them (the complete folder) then they should be gone in x5, check that the rest of the projects is ok, if so then you can later remove the previous moved folder .
