Hi Incomedia,
I've updated the Websitex5 version to beta 13.0.0. After saving the project and reopening, the version started from the demo version, adding watermarks to all the illustrations. I am asking for a quick repair because I have to finish the current project.
Kind Regards

Now when you try to reinstall 16.3.0 pro or 16.2.1, the following message appears. Actualization error: 314 In the last period, numerous applications have been made with a request for a new unlocking code for your profile.
Contact our technical support office to get detailed information about your profile and how to activate it. "

Just had a very irate customer informing me of the same issue. Incomedia NEEDS to fix this as a priority. I have a few weeks left before my update protection runs out WILL THIS BE FIXED? If not will incomedia supply me with a update when it is?
Where are my other copys of x5 pro? I can't even download a prior version since they have been removed from my profile??
Everything is messed up, and the only way to get it back to normal - is to import an older copy.
But when doing that, all the last work are gone... In the top of that, it's not possible to copying the lost work from the webversion, since pices of the work are hidden behind watermarks, pictures who are out of their space...
Sans commentaire ... ou plutôt si, un seul : lamentable !!!
Hi. To go back to the working version download and install version 16.3.0 from "My downloads" in your Help Center profile. The version 16.3.0 that you'll download corresponds to the previous version 16.2.1 that worked and did not give the problem of the writing "Demo version" on the projects.
Yes, you can downloaded the previous version, but if you have saved (directly or after an upload) the project in the 16.3 version, you won't open the project any more (and the restoring of backup file doesn't work).
Hi Gianfranco. No, with the beta version I haven't worked on any of my important projects, I always do tests on unimportant projects when I download a beta version before starting to work on important projects.

Ciao Gianfranco. No, io con la versione beta non ho lavorato su nessuno dei miei progetti importanti, faccio sempre delle prove su progetti poco importanti quando scarico una versione beta prima di mettermi a lavorare su progetti importanti.
Hello,
Strangely I did not have this problem with this Beta update. My photos are displayed normally.
I just reported this problem to support...

Yes Giuseppe, I saw it yesterday night... The galley seems to continue with this software
Let's hope everything gets back to normal quickly!! Nice day to you,
J.P.
Hello,
I'm sorry for this situation.
thanks for the report. We have already reported this to our development team that is working on this.
We suggest you use the Beta version ONLY to test it on new projects or on a copy of your existing projects.
To go back to the previous version you need to uninstall the program and download the 16.2.1 version from your downloads section and then reimport the .iwzip file of a previous version, or restore a backup.
If you can not turn back or if you do not have old versions you need to wait for the release the new update.
I will write to you here as soon as I have news about it.
Thank you.
please correct this bug as soon as possible - all of my websides are destroyed by this since todays update.
I had updated my protection evolution licence a few days ago and now i`m screwed :-(
Chris
Hello,
we have released a new update for WebSite X5, version 16.3.1 which solves this problem.
You can download it and give me feedback.
Thank you.
it works - thank you, Riccardo and team for this immediate solution!
Chris
Problem with Beta Versions of X5 is that when you install it, the regular program version is overwritten (like with a normal program update). So you can't work on that PC with important projects anymore.
My workaround is to have the Betas only on my 2nd PC and being careful not to touch the important projects... Not very convenient but there is no other way I guess.
Better would be if Incomedia set the beta versions always like it would be a totally different program and it could be installed parallel to the still official regular version.
The Beta version should also always automatically create a copy of the projects you open from an regular version to avoid destroying the project.
That's my 2 cents worth of input...
Cheers,
Dieter
