Customers not finishing order- issue with paying
Autor: Lauren W.I do not think this is something we can pinpoint, but I wanted to bring it to your attention.
I have been dealing with the shopping cart about 2 weeks now. I am not a huge fan of the limitations, but that is another story.
I have customers register first because guest check out was a nightmare (not enough information was collected for issues that came up
now I notice about 10-15% of the customers registering is not placing orders, now the only reason to register is for shopping so I ruled out any other causes.
I have got feedback from those registering (and those attempting to register that just call in their orders out of frustration)
Below is some of the things I have heard
-It would not let me pay, I have an issue with PayPal in the pass
-It would not let me check the captcha box to proceed
the most common problem came from using cell phones to place orders.
I do not know if this is user errors (seems like a lot to be user errors but I do not know) Either way, If anyone has any other issues similar to mine please let me know

Also. is there a way NOT to use PayPal?
@ Lauren
Many, many, many users have already pinpointed that the eCommerce needs - among some other things - an alternative payment gateway. I'm proposing that this could be 2checkout - because it will fit 99% of World's users.
If you need a "standalone" credit card processing gateway (not 2checkout, stripe etc.) - well, that's a whole different ballgame - and, frankly, this will never happened with WSX5...
Regarding to your user's questions - I can say that lots of it could be their mistake - the level of online focus is very, very low... so trying to buy via cell phone could produced that fingers are touching the wrong part of the screen...
Hello. I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.

Update! One user just told me when she went to pay via paypal it is sent her to the UK (we are USA) and when she went to go to the "USA" it froze and shut down. That sounds like a Paypal problem to me, maybe the way the information was sent to paypal? not sure. I just wanted ya'll to know incase it helps you out.
Hi all, for the record, i have been running an ecommerce site for 5 weeks approx and have very few issues with orders being paid for. I have been monitoring it on behalf of client and checking the process closely..
Most are User error, whilst the checkout process is not great it suits my (and client) needs with PP. Most orders are coming from mobile/tablet 85% and the rest via laptops. We are processing and getting paid orders via PP approx. 20/day and things are running good.. Not much help to you, but successful on my part..
Hello Lauren
The PayPal account you linked to your payment method was registered on the American website of PayPal or a European section?
That could be a reason. That being said, please try to contact PayPal's support if you still encounter a situation like this. They might be able to shed some light on the matter
After that, let me know what they said here
Thank you
Stefano
I suspect the problem is the language as selected in the browser?
I am in Australia, but in Firefox it is nigh on impossible to set language to Australian. As a consequence the country come up as England.(or America) PayPal reject this country when a user makes payment from an Australian address.
@ Stefano
Regarding to 2checkout > the guys from the 2checkout will be HAPPY to see that WSX5 uses their services!
I had an e-mail conversation with them and they will gladly work with the Incomedia's developers and add this payment gateway to the WSX5.
Thus, 99% of your users would have a PG that works for almost any country & currency - and the ones not satisfied with PP - would have an alternative...
I'll put this into IDEA.
