Hi friends,

I bought your Website X5 Pro program and created my own e-shop. There's a big problem when I'm copied to my hosting, it's not working. They wrote me this message from my hosting:

"We have tried to redirect the root directory to a folder that you only have in the FTP repository. However, there is no "index.php / html" or anything like that that could be loaded. Please check first how the application should work and then let us know the web loading we can set up. I also recently commented out the .htaccess file that caused the redirect cycle - you also had the wrong folder name set in it."

Please can you tell me if this index.php file is created automatically or something needs to be done? I did not find any answers in the support.

Peter, the easiest way to check is step 5, export project to disk. Choose your destination folder and proceed. This will generate your website locally. Unless you have changed the default settings you will find index.html or index.php in that folder.  Double click on it and it will open in your default browser.

Peter, you upload your website to rainbowcrystal.eu/web, is that where your hosting asked you to upload to? My hosting asks me to place my website in mydomain.com/public_html

Please check with your hosting for the correct destination, as it stands I cannot open anything to do with your website (even an empty folder should display in my browser but I get "forbidden") and I suspect htaccess needs to be modified. Your hosting support should be able to fix or advise.

I do not understand why your index file should be in the admin folder. Please create a folder on your PC eg c:\website then go to step 5, export project to disk, in destination navigate to the new folder. When done use windows explorer to look in c:\website and that is where the index file/s should be. Please advise if this is not the case.

Peter, I see your website is online but sadly I do not understand the question. Hopefully someone who speaks your native language can assist without the intervention of translation. I have marked your post for incomedia's attention.

From what I see on the screenshot, example 2 is simply a level with pages in it. Are you wanting to be able to navigate to each page (as can be done thru the menu) or do you wish it to auto scroll to each page in time?

Please, Stefano, for more help. I went to test the store, I made a fictitious order and I get a Generated error when registering. Where could be the problem?
I also don't know where a registered customer can log in to view their orders. It should be a customer account.

I don't know if this is the right answer from Support, a company like Incomedia. I bought your product, I study, I try, and I get into trouble. I've solved a lot. The latest, is, click on Add to Cart and nothing will happen. After a while, the message Generic error appears. If I can't fix the error, who do you think I should contact? Imagine you buy my product and you don't like it, you are not satisfied. But I will ignore you, how will you feel?

If I understand correctly your first question instead:

First, go inside the actual Terms and Conditions pages, and place anchors in certain points of the page.

Then you can go to Step 3 and create a Level. Then, you place other Levels beneath it:

Then, for each sublevel, click on Properties and configure the link to go to the various anchors:

Dear Stefan, yes, I have accepted your orders. However, this only works when setting up Shopping Cart - Send Orders - Send Data by Email. So I assume that if I want to use Website X5 Manager, I will not receive this information through this application.
Maybe today I will work on your solution design. Then I'll let you know if it works my way.

The issue with PayPal comes from the fact that in Step 5, when you export online, you inserted the wrong URL for your website

The correct one is

https://www.rainbowcrystal.eu/

Please replace your URL in Step 5 with this and upload the entire website again

You can export the products as CSV from Step 1 -> Shopping Cart

Then, you can easily swap the description there, save the CSV file and import it back in again

This should make the changing of this piece of information pretty quick

Try this out and let me know if it works

Dear Stefan, please help. Please see the attached pictures. They will definitely help you understand my problem.
When ordering goods and choosing the PayPal payment option, the customer will be taken to a page where he is informed about the processing of the order and sending all the information by email. When a customer clicks on the Paypal button, he is redirected to the Slovak version and this can be confusing. I don't know how it should go properly or whether it should not be redirected to the language mutation in which the customer worked.
The same goes for payment. By clicking on Pay now on the order, the customer is always redirected to the basic language version - Slovak version. And it can also be confusing. Maybe that's why I don't have an order yet :-)
Please, can you explain to me how to proceed to adjust these redirects to the correct language mutation?
Then I have a problem with Website X5 Manager. I have everything installed, but in a month it still reports zero status in all indicators. I can't figure out where the mistake is.
I'd love for you to help me. Maybe others had a similar problem.

The issue with the language redirect is this.

For everyone of your website, you need to change the URL in Step 5 accordingly.

For example:

In your main project, you need to write this as URL:

https://rainbowcrystal.eu/

In your EN project, you need to write this:

https://rainbowcrystal.eu/en

And so on.

You need to do this in Step 5 for every language of the project and then export the entire website online again

Please try this out and let me know if PayPal works then
