Hi All,

I currently have the standard (free) Website X5 hosting package that comes with the Website X5 Program, and allows for hosting 1 website.  If I upgrade to the Website X5 "Pro" Hosting Package (for $5.99/month) will I then be able to host an "unlimited" number of Website X5 Pro designed websites (as long as I don't go over a certain amount of datae storage limits)?  Or would upgrading to the Website X5 "Pro" Hosting Package (for $5.99/month) onlt allow me to host one additional Website X5 Pro created website, and thus must pay an additional $5.99/month for each additional Website X5 Pro created website that I wish to host? (e.g.: $5.99 x 2 = $11.98 to be able to host three Website X5 Pro created website (my initial free website, my 2nd website for $5.99/month and a third website for $5.99/month)?

If someone would please let me know about this, I would really apprecite it.

Thanks so much for your help.

Hello,
from what I can see you have a Pro licence active, this means that you already have a Pro Hosting, as the web space included for the first year when you purchase a licence is of the same kind as the licence.
In your case you would be purchasing an additional web space that would allow you to host an additional website, rather than upgrading the one you have.

If you need a web space for every website, it becomes expensive.

Hi All - thanks for addressing my question.  I think I understand know, but need some confirmation whether I am correct or incorrect.  In this website (by Incomedia), when it says "Unlimited Projects - Create all the sites you want: for yourself, your clients, or your friends. No fees or commissions", it means you may use the Website X5 Pro software to deign and create an unlimited amount of websites; however if you want to upload and host more than one Website X5 Pro created website at a time, you will either need to rent additional web space from Incomedia, or find an alternate web hosting provider to upload and host your other created websites on (which, in my experience, has been difficult to do).

If someone would be so kind as to clarify tha I am understanding thsi correctly, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much for your help with this.

you have understood correctly.
You can create as many sites as you want, but to publish them you must have the space and the domain name where to put them.
This is at your own expense, except for one that is included with the licence if you want to use it for the first year.

There are many providers where you can put your website, the important thing is that it is on a Linux host for maximum compatibility.

You could be hosted at simply.com or one.com     https://www.simply.com/https://www.one.com

At one.com you have a limited number of domains you can connect to the wespace.

At simply.com you can connect an unlimited number of domains.

Normally you have 10 GB space. This will be enough for many projects of normal size.

At one.com you can make more websites by making them as subfolders.

At simply.com you can have many "real" websites with each their own domain name - as long you dont exceed the 10 GB limit.

And just to make it clear:

With X5 you can make unlimited number of projects. You can have a webspace with more domains connected to the webspace.

For each domain you can make a X5 project with settings that points to the specific domain.

The domains will have their own part of space on your webspace but all together they must not exceed the total amount of space you pay for. You could start with the smallest amount of space which is normally 10 GB and if/when you find out you need more space you can upgrade the space to 20 GB or 100 GB.
