Website X5 update problem.

The update process stops at around 10%. On Windows 11, the following error message appears:
"The files on your computer cannot be installed.
Make sure you have closed all programs and then restart the installer."
I closed all programs, started the installer again, but that didn't help either. Then I restarted the computer and started only Websit X5, but the installation still stopped with the same error message.
What could be the problem?

The Incomedia employees will be back online on Monday and should be able to give the usual tips, such as deactivating programs, firewalls and anti-virus programs.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago, but I didn't deactivate anything and after a few attempts at longer intervals the update worked.
The next update to version 2024.4.9 worked without an error message, even though I hadn't deactivated anything. It remains a mystery what is disrupting the update.

download the full version from your profile

and install it

I downloaded the newer version and installed it. That solved the migration to the new version.
Of course, that still didn't solve the update problem...
