This happens with every project, new or old when previewing the web and responsive view is activated (when responsive is not active, the problem is not present).

As first verify to have all available windows updates and hotfixes installed.

Once done proceed to repair the .NET Frameworks:

To repair the .NET Frameworks 3.5 and 4 you need as first to use following cleanup tool to remove .NET 4:
http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Once done go to Control Panel then choose Programs and Features and then click on Turn Windows features on or off. Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
This procedure can take some time to deactivate and activate .NET 3.5.1 and once done reinstall .NET 4 after downloading it from following link:

And then install also all Visual C++ by choosing always the x86 Version:

Ok, installed NET 4.5 and now it is working ok, remember to add that extra step when commenting the instructions.

With the same computer did the program previously worked correctly?

If yes please try to restore windows to a previous restore point to see if then all work correctly since it could be a program installed or an update in windows is causing this issue.

I have the same problem. when preview it  sometimes it crashes out of X5 and I have to reload it again. This has been an ongoing issue. I remember that others have mentioned this problem. I do think it may be the X5 problem for them to look at.

My app is never have that problem... Please do the folowing...

1. deinstal X5 aplication

2. run windows update

3. then reinstal the aplication again

Sorry for the dalayed answer, yesterday I decided to do a clean Windows install, though I was almost certain it wouldn't do any difference, I use to do a clean installation once a year or so to keep my machine stable for work.

Well, I installed everything (NET and vcredist), updated windows and after all that I installed X5, but the result is the same I am working on a page and I just suffered a crash, this is the error windows is showing:

Did you set the program in the whitelist of your antivirus to not have it scanned while it is working?

Can youp lease start a new project and then test this one to see if you get the same error?
