Website X5 Manager Analytics Date Range Issue  en

Hello.   I am using Website X5 Analytics and there is an issue where if you set the date range to see analytics, the results are always 0.  This is an issue even if you set the current day which is already supposedly set.

For example, when you click on Most Visited pages, the default date range is the last 30 days.  If you click on either of the dates and then click any date, even the same date that is already selected, the results all return 0.  I found this to be an issue even if I select a range of 1 day.

I first noticed the issue on the Android app, but the same behavior happened on the admin web console.

I just started using it.

In your case it might be a currupted database.

I will keep you informed about my experience, but so far it looks good.

Andre,

Your image shows the default view, the last 30 days.  That view works for me too, but it breaks when you select a custom date range.  Please try changing the date to anything else and let me know if it works.

Hello Gabriel,

You are right after selecting another time frame the graphic is gone and there is a very strange date set, also the pop up kalander does not look very well.

I have set this post for Incomedia to check, my gues that this is a bug.

can you try to click CTRL+F5 when you see the wrong graphic?

Tell me the url of your page when you click on the custom date and the PHP version of your server and the operation sistem of the server (linux,windows).

I have the same problem, php is PHP 5.6. The provider uses Linux.

I switched to php7 -> same problem.

It does not matter what date you select, any date changes the graphics with 1970-01-25 in the left button corner.

Even if switched back to the original date the graph in Analytics is bad. If I goto dashboard, then back to analytics, one month is displayed correctly again. changing any date gives the prtscrn I have posted earlyer.

CTRL-F5 does not help.

The problems starts when you open the popup for a change in calander date. Even if I open the calander by pressing on one of the date's and then close the popup by selecting the same date (the 1st of the month, without actually changing the date) the graph goes wrong.

Inomedia: Please check the popup of the date picker I believe this sets a wrong format when you have used it

IMHO it can't be the server or PHP because in the start screen where 1 month is shown the grafic is correct, so the dates are correctle set and the data is correct, so PHP and Linux server work correct. At the moment of opening the pop up to change the date that triggers an event that causes the issue.

While you are making changes to this, can we add some additional analytics tools like referrer URL, source IP info, browser type, screen resolution, time of day, heatmaps?

I am testing the beta 13.1.0.5 in this version it still does not work, didi a full upload but still same issue.

Tested with beta 13.1.1.8 also the issue is still there.

Hello Andre,

try follow this steps:

  1. export all site in your server
  2. go in the folder RES in your site
  3. "x5engine.php" delete the file "x5engine.php" 
  4. rename the file with the name like this "x5engine_28j3020.php" to "x5engine.php"

I would if I could, but I don't have an x5engine_xxxx.php, the x5 engine file is from yesterday, the day I did the full upload. See reversed alphabaticle file list of my RES folder in the attachement.

To fix this Incomedia needs all information to acces  your provider and database (all login names database names and acces codes.)

I did not give this, so nothing is happening sinds then.

I still think it's strange standard on login it shows the month correct, after using the pop up to set the same date it does not work anymore.

I can't figure out why Incomedia can not use this difference to find the error.

It looks like we are the only two that have this, i assume more but not everybode uses this option. There are free and more visitor counters and they have more tools. If needed I use these ( I always have, even before x5 hat this option)

If you want to provide the data to Incomedia, set it in an private message, an maybe they will find it then. I was going to find out myself, it can't be hard, but I am very short on time so it could take a while before I can take a crack at it.

If I find a solution I will let you know Gabriel.
