What are the regulations for using third-party images or code that may appear in the templates?
Автор: IncomediaAll the images in a template that is published in the Help Center must be accompanied by the relative user licences.
The template Author must be in possession of the user licences (whether they are free of charge or purchased) for the images he/she uses.
If you wish to create a template to be included in the Help Center, remember that:
- you can freely use images that are included in the WebSite X5 gallery: they are all royalty-free and may be used for commercial ends.
- you may decide to use licence-covered images only in the previews of the pages included in your template, thus avoiding publishing them as project content. You may provide the source of the images you use, in order to allow anyone who is interested to purchase or download the images under his/her own responsibility.
The same indications also apply to third-party code. If you use external components that require the use of the HTML object, you must include the user licence and explicitly mention websites from where interested users may find the necessary information on the use and customization of these components.
PLEASE NOTE: The user licence must cover the possibility to redistribute any used code, whether this is free of charge or to be paid for
