thank you for getting in touch. 

Please consider we completely renewed the Cart Status function: with the old Object it was possible to report a value only, while with the new one not only you can do this, but you can also report an image and define all the necessary graphic parameters. Because the changes applied were so important, we decided to make a new Object (which is something we already did in the past with the Login & Logout Object) which is paid just because of all the options included. 

I hope having clarified your doubts, but please let me know if you need any further clarification.

If I remember good object Login & Logout Object was and still is free... Cart Status probably was also free so why new Cart Status isn't?

I know how you feel - but Incomedia has a "strange" money-making policy which I cannot understand (I'm a seasoning marketing manager - among my many other "trades"...).

This kind of object is a "default object" in any other eCommerce platform - having additional layout and info option is A MUST regarding the shopping cart nowadays, so this object should be FREE in PRO version!

But, Incomedia wants to earn additional 12 EUR from it...

Try making not-free OBJECTS for 2checkout, Stripe and other PGs!

As I wrote this (too) many times before - there are paying users that still cannot utilize PayPal payments!!! That's a shame that no one from Incomedia doesn't reacts for years!

They claim to have a nice e-commerce solution... Humm humm... Need to pay the pro version plus additionnal objects.

Yeah, I think they have no policy whatsoever. If they had one - many user's requests would be solved years ago.

There are plenty other ways to earn additional cash. Incomedia doesn't know how to do it and I'm not going to tell them (for free)!

The period is difficult for all... everybody knows this.
But to pay an object to improve the PRO version which the best solution is not acceptable.

And again Incomedia does not provide the best in their major software (WSX5 PRO) , to force users to buy more and more... to have  abetter product... So the price of WSX5 PRO is not real....

May be they need to get money and if it's by this way it's really a pity.... to save the boat.... for me, not really surprise...
so it could be the begining of end of period... and time to choose other one (no name .... , Incomedia does not like to comment concurrent(s) ...) 

Yes Incomedia you have been a leader not in term of functionnalities but wysiwig usage , not sure but maybe ... But now time has changed !      and ask to pay more and more is not suitable.

Yes, this COVID fraud is ruined the business in general (that's why it's designed in USA and "exported" to Wuhan) - but many IT related companies are doing quite well.

Incomedia should listen its user base - and "the boat" will not only remain floating but it will sail even better! I'm curious in the info you're mentioned - so I'll send you a PM today - cheers!

as I mentioned, the new Cart Status Object offers a substantially higher number of options in compared to the old one, that is the reason why we decided to make it available upon payment. 

Please remember though that this kind of functions are made available as Optional Objects because they aren't necessarily essential for the creation of a website: being "extra" functions, we preferred to make them available as Optional Objects instead of included ones.

of course, we keep improving the software with its included functions as well. Since October last year we have introduced a great amount of new features, among which you can find:

• Different shipping costs according to the purchase countries

Apart from these new features, and apart from keeping improving the software itself, we of course release new Optional Objects, which are also an important part of the WebSite X5 world.

Please don't speak any word about your improving SEO until you add tag alt to pictures in galleries... The most powerful SEO tool still remain unsolved for years and still I have add it manually after each upgrade of websites.

May be the best should be to have a paid object to have a best SEO... And to improve a complete software including ALL object and probably functions (regarding their web advertising)...

We don't talk about freeware. We are talking about programm with standard price about 230 eur per year. So in fact even free objects aren't free, especially when they had changed policy that new objects don't work with old versions of programm.

But you are right - I would prefer to pay for adding alt tag to galleries than wasting about two-three hours with each upgrade of website.
