Protecting photos from download  en

I have been searching for a way of protecting photos from unauthorized download.
I only see 2 ways. One is to use the watermark, which is not pretty, not acceptable. The other is in the image object only.
I would like to be able to protect photos in the Masonry Object & perhaps others, such as the Justiffied Gallery.
Thanks for any ideas.

why don't you want to use a watermark?

it is the only way to guarantee that if your photos are copied, they will still be traceable to you.

Any other way does not guarantee that they will not be copied, anything you can see on your screen or in the browser can easily be copied.

Hello Claudio,
I know anything on a web page can be captured using a screen grab, but that gives pretty low resolution results.
My purpose as a photographer is to represent my images in a beautiful way. I prefer to avoid giving the opportunity to copy them in their highest resolution. Unless there is something new that I don't know about, watermarks deface the image. Even then they can be removed using Photoshop, but that also diminishes the quality of the image.
I'm no expert with code, but it seems to me that if the Image Object has the ability to prevent downloading of one image, the other gallery objects could also have that ability. Such as Masonry, Justified Gallery, etc.
Thanks for your comment, it probably required me to clarify my question.
James

no.

perhaps I have not explained myself well...

I am not referring only to screen capture but to the fact that the moment I view an image in the browser, it is saved on my computer, in the cache, at the original resolution that it was published.

If you are a photographer, there is nothing better to advertise your business and your website than by putting a watermark on the photo.

I have a friend who often has his photos published in Vogue Italia magazine, and he too has 'resigned' to putting watermarks on them, to legitimise his authorship.

x James A F., ... (It > En) ... ...in pages containing "Masonry Object" (and other gallery types), ... you can simply use this useful option provided in the Program:
>> Enable HTML Code Protection:this enables protection for published website pages, disabling right button mouse clicks. The visitor will not be able to view the pages' source code online using the commands in the context menu that opens when the righthand mouse button is clicked on the pages.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
...(!) ... or, if you are only interested in disabling  (not seeing) the contextual menu  on the images, and therefore not being able to download them directly, then you could use my simple EXTRA code; ...so in this case if you are interested, ... you warn me...

.

ciao
