Why the text shrinks every time I use HTML tags in text editor?

When I activate the html in a text field, the text inside tags changes its size and is barely visible.
Do I have to use any special method to avoid this?

Please update the program to the latest release and then try again.
Do you add any html code in the text object?
If yes what code do you add?
