I tried to update X5 Evolution Pro to 12.0.8.29. I kept getting the message in the attached file.
1) I tried checking with the TASK MANAGER if any session of X5 was open, and none were there.
Can you help?

Sorry for the delay.
I downloaded the product as you said. It gave the same error as before. (Attached). But NO File name ...
I chose to IGNORE (though it said it was not recommended) and it completed the installation. Is that OK? Should I do something else?
The product is starting up correctly but I wonder if skipping the file would present an error later on.

That second error message is in fact a different error and of a different nature to the first.

thanks for the screenshot.
Even if the program works correctly, you still get an error and it would be better to install the software with no issues.
What I suggest you is to uninstall the program, download it again from "my downloads" here on your profile, turning off the firewall (it could be a permission problem).
Also, try to launch the software as administrator.

I uninstalled it and installed the 8.29 version (without stopping the firewall).
It worked well.
