Hello Joris
You probably have an object that forces the system to save the page as php.
Look in this post : https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/de/post/174118
I think it is much the same "problem" you have.
If you have a normal page with no special objects and the system saves such a page as php, then there is something wrong.
Check if you have some special object and if not, then write again ecentual with a screenshot showing what objects you have on the page.
Kind regards

Thanks for the fast response.
I have dowloaded some of the new free objects, in X5 but i am not using them on my site.
The only object on the page is the the products catalog.
Do you have something special in the footer/header ?
Do you have a link to your site ?
Kind regards
John S.
Hello Joris Raats,
Did you set for the products the available quantity option?
If yes this function requires the page to have PHP as extension to work correctly.
Many thanks!

When I asked this question my site was not yet online, but i found out what caused it:
I had some products with ,discount until certain date', and that caused that X5 created some PHP files instead of HTML
It is the first time that I have .php files on a website and I didn't know that it is how the program is meant to work :-)
The more I work with it the more I am astounded how it works and what it can do.
I wonder how big the .iwzip file gets when I have 3000 or more products in it. maybe it is better to split my products over different websites?
Joris, whatever your plans for the future of your website, please make FREQUENT USE of the backup now option (down arrow next to save) and always have a relatively recent iwzip stored other than on your PC in case of catastrophy. Re-entering 3000+ products would be a mind numbing experience.
