Hi how do I update the cart status from "ready for processing" to "processed" to show that the order has been processed when viewed via the database viewer object on my web page?

You have to change the status of the order in the admin-panel.
You find the admin panel by specifying your domainname in the browser followed by /admin
The password for admin you find in the acces administration in X5
