Error in XML document

When trying to open a project (http://www.guernseykennelclub.org.gg/) I get this message:
"An error occurred while loading the Project. There is an error in XML document (444277. 18)"
I found a thread from someone with a similar problem and understand that I need to copy and rename an .iwprj file but I'm having difficulty following the instructions given.
Please can someone help a not-very-tech-savvy person by explaining the procedure in very simple terms?

Ann. you are a registered user of V11, but I note that v14 & v15 are listed in your profile, please register your software so that we can provide the correct advise.
This advise varies based on your version. With v11 you need to navigate to your project using Windows Explorer. The project is normally in documents/Incomedia/website X5 v11 - Evolution/yourprojectname, you are looking to rename a file called project.iwprj to project-broken.iwprj, then go into the backup folder, copy the most recent backup up to your project folder and rename it project.iwprj.
If you are using v14 or v15 the file has the type iwprj2, and the instructions vary depending on whether you have stayed with Evolution or moved to Professional.
