This way you can make effects and also if the effects is only when hovering.

You could also use the tabs in the Text Object ...
Go in the Text Object, there you will find some tabs at the bottom, on the left, create the tabs you need (example: three scrolling texts, three tabs), insert your text or image for each tab, insert the link on the text or, for example, on the image of a button as you would normally do in the Text Object and then go to the parameters for the duration and type of text scrolling (you can also set up automatic scrolling).

Michal, Giuseppe's recommendation is the best, but you would first have to upgrade to the professional version which supports tabs in a text box.

Before I had pro I needed text to change/scroll. I simply composed my text on a white background in a text object, hit print screen (copied to clipboard), pasted into a paint package, cropped the image. set background (white) as transparent and saved as png.

I did this for each piece of text required and placed into a gallery slide show.

I suggested the rollover as this is the possibility you have.

I agree that the tabs will give a much nicer visual effect. And you can combine the rollover and the tab - in each tab you can have a different rollover effect or none.

But you have to invest in the PRO version and have to think over that upgrading then will be at a higher cost.

You will get rather much functionality to upgrade to the latest version - you will not have much extra functionality by upgrading from evolution to PRO.

I will suggest that you try the testversion of both versions if you have not done this already - and then decide if you you will upgrade and to which version.

I have integrated Bootstrap into Website X5... The best thing would be to integrate Bootstrap into the Website X5 and you get this (if you bring the mouse on the sliding photos, the scrolling stops so you can click on the green buttons "Read more ..." etc., remove the mouse from the photos to make it back to scroll automatically):

Michael, further to my post above, you could of course create white text on a neutral background (light orange?) and then set the background as transparent in many paint programs (paint.net at https://www.getpaint.net/download.html is still free).

You hopefully are aware that all support for v9 has ceased, the only assistance you will get here is from other users.

Bootstrap looks very nice and does what I need. But I'm afraid that integration into Website X5 is beyond my power.

Currently I have X5 Evolution in version 9, but I want to buy an upgrade to version 16 Evolution. Professional version is expensive for me.

Hi bootstrap causes issues with the x5 websites menu structure (trust me i’ve Worked with bootstrap) it requires a lot of modification to work with website x5 properly, but a lot of our templates come with various sliders built into them along with tutorials on our blog which also feature a lot of sliders you can use such as Vegas background slider, flex slider, wow slider, bx slider and hero slider to name a few, you can view our tutorials here https://www.x5tuts-marketplace.com
