For tre years now, I have been pointing out the problem when uploading files to the server and unnecessarily filling up space on the server... Your system creates and generates unnecessary names for the same files that are already on the server!!! WHY!!! Try to understand that we who update websites for clients daily when uploading to the server Your application generates the same file names and unnecessarily fills up space on the server... THIS IS NOT CORRECT AND PLEASE FIX IT BECAUSE WE PAY LICENSES... By looking at my server and linker diagnostics Your system created an unnecessary 2gb and 700mb file...

By looking at my server and linker diagnostics Your system created an unnecessary 2gb and 700mb file...

And what's in these giant files?
My brother's website has over 60 pages and, according to the FTP program, is almost 3 MB in size.

FileZilla: 89 files and 13 directories. Total size 2,992,277 bytes (around 3 megabytes)

Website X5 works with objects containing text, images and code. Since the objects have to work independently of each other, each object brings its own code with it.
Other programs, offline or online, that work similarly to WebSite X5 also bring a lot of code and files with them. With many objects, there is a lot of code and many files, including duplicates.
For lovers of economical code and fewer files, I recommend Visual Studio Code (free). You can save as much as possible here with the codes and the files. However, you should then be familiar with HTML, CSS and Javascript as well as PHP.
Anyone who wants to create websites easily, quickly and conveniently takes a website builder and doesn't bother with code editors. The web spaces are generously dimensioned today, so that smaller websites and shops do not have to save on files and codes.
The professional web designers are welcome to mess around with code editors, they get paid for it. Or they can take it easy and just use WebSite X5, but get paid like pros.

Thank you for your comment, many years ago projects with a large base started to be worked on, it was then the easiest and simplest to create through this application... I think it is unnecessary to send screenshots because Incomedia knows (if necessary I will), but for example take a look at www.cabar.hr so see what base it has... Kind regards.
Website www.cabar.hr - too many gimmicks / effects for me, but who likes it.
X5 Croatia, it is my understanding that the new and much maligned file browser introduced with v2022.2.3 was implemented to enable the removal of redundant files and the minimisation of renamed files (duplicate files given alternative names).
I would be interested to know if new projects started in v2022.2.3 and later suffer this issue, but if this is not reasonable have you run through all the optimisation options in step 5, then exported the project as iwzip and then restarted WX5 and imported the iwzip.
For the full advantage (or failure) to show up I believe all current website files on the host should be deleted before upload.

If you administer websites for clients every day and if the database is filled daily, I think you are wrong... Well, I will not delete and fill the content every day and export it again and again... Therefore, the manipulation of a large database with this application is not right. Unnecessary loading of server space with the same files but with different names... I don't understand why, but from my point of view this is not right...
