Unable to activate link for customer file download.

On my site (www.iteachgcse.co.uk) - I have a 'Download Preview' button. When I make the link to a File or URL where the previews are stored on the server, the program duplicates the first part of the URL! The downlad is therefore unavailable. What am I doing wrong?

The file is a Powerpoint file (ppt). I make the link but it adds the URL twice!

Do you create a link with the text object, link, select the linked file on your pc?

Hi - The URL of the site iswww.iteachgcse.co.ukand the Download button I want to activate is on (http://www.iteachgcse.co.uk/a-view-from-the-bridge.html). I cannot work out why it is not finding the file and even the error message asks if I want to go to iteachgcse.co.uk - not sure why.

Tell you what it is..... Your server has inserted an extra folder! (Seen this before!!)

Brilliant! That works perfectly. Thank you so much. Why on earth would the server insert an extra folder? Is that not a bit weird? Nonetheless... your solution has saved a good deal of heartache. I owe you a beer or two! Thanks again.
