When you start WebSite X5 in the first screen you will find in the lateral menu "Preferences" in which you can change the Script level ofthe Email form. Try to choose the Low-level Script or Low-quality Server Script and export the Project again. Once exported try to test if the confirmation email are sent.

Sorry to report, but there are absolutely no emails going out from the app. Not from the contact form nor the shop. I've tried all three choices in the "Preferences".
