Google fonts not working

I have got X5 Pro 11, i followed the instructions to load and use Google fonts exactly, they appear in available fonts no problem and in preview mode work perfectly but when site is uploaded the font reverts back to Times on all browsers, any idea what may be the problem,

Hello Dave,
I also noticed the same behavior and I already informed the developers. They will check the issue and, in case, fix it in the future updates. You will receive a notification of a new update in the opening screen of WebSite X5 and you can see the changes made in the updates on websitex5.com/changelog/v11 .

Thanks, looking forward to this being fixed quickly as quite limiting not being able to design using Google fonts.

You need to use the @import code like Lemonsong suggested. You used the link code and this is not working because it needs to other option in the google fonts to appear.

that worked, thanks for your help, any ideas how to get the favicon to work also,
using a low res gif file but it never appears,

The favicon is working correctly on http://www.maximumimpact.eclipse.co.uk but on
www.maximumimpactdesign.co.uk it will not appear since this page has a frameset to display the real url and thi page with the frameset contains no favicon and it's why it is not working. If you use a masking code it will be necessary to add in the page which loads the frameset code the favicon code and file.
