Please add an "UNDO" feature for all of us to use!  en

Hi Incomedia,

I am quite new to this software and this program is great but it makes me feel uneasy and hesitant a lot of the time to just try new creative ideas as hours of work can be destroyed by accident in one move because this program doesn't have an "UNDO" feature. We all make mistakes and this will help us quickly correct any problem. So please work towards adding this because I have not used any program that did not have this feature, only X5. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have this. I know others also feel the same way... I would appreciate it too just as much as all the users of X5 would. It would make the workflow so much better and more free to use and will attract more users too I think. Please make this happen, it would be the cherry on top of the X5 cake!

Undo feature? Bring it on!

Thank you Incomedia.

An alternative would be to have a "CONFIRM" feature. This way we could play around with as many options as we want on our website but these will not be applied until we click "CONFIRM". Maybe on the top right... You could have a "confirm" and "cancel" feature. Even after many changes, we could click "cancel" which would take us back a page and not save what we just did just incase we weren't happy or made mistakes. This would definitely increase the fluidity of the workflow and help enhance the software.

Thank you very much and I hope you consider these ideas.

Hi Guys,

Ctrl+z will undo your last delete as long as you haven't saved or previewed the page.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. Control Z will not undo your latest change though. Example, say if I had the colour blue selected and saved already, then I changed it to yellow. If I press Control Z, it won't do anything. I have to manually go back and find that shade of blue I used. An undo feature would improve the workflow a lot and would make things much simpler and quicker.
