Hello Matthew,
Try to activate or deactivate the passive ftp and then try it again. If this should not help try to make a compelte export online and then try to see if then it is possible to export only the updated files.
Many thanks!

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I originally had Evolution 10 and upgraded to Evolution 11. Since that time there has been an update that I am unable to recieve. It gets stuck at the server connection could take a few seconds to complete. I have left it on this screen for hours at a time with no resolve. I attatched a screen shot for you. What should I do. I never had an issue with any updates for evo 10.
Kind regards,
Matt

I would like an answer soon please. Unfortunately, I don't want to incur the out of country charges with a technical support phone call. I am up for email or chat, looking for a solution so I can upgrade to the most recent version of the software.
Hello Matthew,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble updating.
Could I ask you to try temporarily switching off your anti-virus and firewall whilst attempting to update? I know that it seems illogical when version 10 updated without having to do so, but version 11 works slightly differently, so please try it if you can. If you are then able to update successfully then we can make Incomedia aware of that.
The other thing you can do which will almost guarantee a successful update is to download the latest version from here:
http://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads
Then right-click on the setup file and select 'Run as administrator' - this will install the new version over your existing one... there is no need to uninstall WebSite X5 first, but make sure the program is closed before you start.
The Incomedia support staff are out of office until Monday, but do try the steps above as they often work. We will all do our best to help you get your software updated.
Kind regards,
Paul
