How can I split a blog into multiple categories and assign each as separate pages?  en

Hi,

What is the best way to split a blog into multiple categories and assign them to separate pages so when people click on the pages in the menu they only see certain categories on blogs that I specify?

For example, I had a blog which has two categories, "Music" and "Submitted Music". I want to make 2 pages on my menu, one called "Music" and the other called "Submitted Music" so when people click on "Music", they get to see my blog but only the ones in "music" category. And when they click "Submitted Music", they see the same blog but only the blogs from the "submitted music" category. I know I could just do a 301 redirect but is there an easier way to do with the software? I want to make it look like I have 2 blogs but really it is the same one just different categories so people only see the categories I choose. Hope this makes sense.

Please help me with the best way to do this.

Thanks.

Hello L Fiers,

In the blog sidebar you find the fields Categories and if you open on of those it will show only blog entries of this category. In this way you can show only the blog entries you want by using these links.

Many thanks!

Yes this is exactly what I want Claudio but I would like these category links to be in the menu pages; "Music" and "Submitted Music" separately. Besides using these category links and doing a 301 redirect of the menu pages, is there another way to do this that you know of? Any way we can do this within X5 without having to do redirects?

Thanks!
